Separate the message from the visual style

Use generation for direction, not typesetting

Generated art can establish composition, color, lighting, and mood quickly, but long text, phone numbers, URLs, dates, logos, and disclaimers should be treated as production data. Add or correct those details in a design editor where exact spelling and alignment are controllable.

Create separate outputs for square feeds, portrait stories, and wide banners when the crop changes the hierarchy. Stretching one format into another can cut off faces, logos, or mandatory information. Review each export at its intended size.

Run a pre-publication check

Compare the final design against the approved brief, not the generated prompt. Confirm every name, title, date, time, address, URL, price, and disclaimer. Check contrast and reading order. Ask whether an unlabeled generated scene could be interpreted as a real photograph.

Keep evidence of permission for portraits, brand marks, and reference art. Political, health, financial, and public-safety material should pass the relevant organizational and legal review before paid distribution or printing.

Worked brief: a public workshop poster

Brief: Format: 1080 × 1350 feed post. Headline: “Saturday Repair Clinic”. Required details: 17 August, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., Community Hall, free entry. Visual: one repaired table fan on a clean workbench. Space at the bottom for organizer logo and registration URL.
What a useful output should contain: The generated draft should create a clear focal object and reserved information areas. The production version should add the exact date, time, venue, logo, and URL as editable text rather than trusting generated lettering.
Human review: Check all event details against the organizer’s source, confirm logo permission, test the registration link, inspect the mobile crop, and export an accessible companion caption.
